Bio
Anthony Hodge has been involved in theatre for over 20 years, performing on-stage in shows such as “Neil Simon’s Come Blow Your Horn”, “Shakespeare’s King Lear, “The Taming of the Shrew” and Othello, “To Kill A Mockingbird” as the vileness Bob Ewell, “It’s a Wonderful Life”, 11 characters in the two-man show “Tuna Christmas” as well as Off-Broadway shows as “Actor’s Nightmare and “Vampire Lesbians of Sodom.”
In addition to on-stage work, Anthony has directed, produced and written over a dozen plays as well as design many sets and marketing materials for shows. When not on stage, Anthony is always involved in some form of “art,” such, fine art and photography, film and videography.

New Beginings of Life, The New Play Theatre, Nashville, TN 1990
Directed by Paul Moss, this is a hilarious comedy about clinic that treats dysfunctional personalities. Playing two very different characters, a co-dependent middle-eastern man “Amir” and a homeless profit.
Denitity Crisis, Actor’s Playhouse, Nashville, TN 1991
Directed by Barbara Moore, this off -the-wall comedy by Christopher Durang lends itself to a multitude of characters, primarily the role of Mr. Summers.
Actor’s Nightmare, Actor’s Playhouse, Nashville, TN 1991
Directed by Joel Meriwether, Anthony playing the role of Henry.
King Lear, Looby Theatre, Nashville, TN 1992
Directed by Sean O’Connell. After several performances for “Theatre in the Lights” Shakespeare monologues Anthony took on a leading role of “Edmund” son to King Lear.
Vampire Lesbians of Sodom, Actor’s Playhouse, Nashville, TN 1992
Directed by Dennis Ewing, Anthony plays another duel role as “Oatsie Carere” a nosy reporter who later turns out to be the feared vampire hunter “Salzasar.”
Days of Wine and Roses, Nashville, TN 1992
Directed by George W. Manas, Jr., Anthony plays the father “Ellis Arnesn” of an alcoholic daughter.
Come Blow Your Horn, Lakewood Theatre, Nashville, TN 1992
Directed by William Doris, Anthony plays the lead playboy role of “Alan” in this Neil Simon comedy.
To Kill A Mockingbird, Player’s By The Sea, Jacksonville Beach, FL 1996
Directed by Megan Phifer, Anthony plays the role of the villain “Bob Ewel.”
Inspecting Carol, Player’s By The Sea, Jacksonville Beach, FL 2005
Directed by Sean LeNoble, Anthony plays the role of theatre manager “Kevin Emory.”
Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, Atlantic Beach, FL 2006
Directed by Barbara Evans, Anthony plays another comical character “Michael Menetti” in this charming two-cast production that includes various styles of dancing.
